1. The agreement
Forgetless is provided by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“Forgetless”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, opening or using the app, or using getforgetless.com, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Forgetless.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services in your country. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
2. What Forgetless does
Forgetless turns what you share from other apps (videos, posts, web pages, Maps links and screenshots) into organized cards such as recipes, places, steps and reminders, and lets you ask questions about your saves. Your library is stored on your device.
We keep improving Forgetless, so features may change, be added or be removed. We’ll try to give notice before removing something important you pay for.
3. Your account
When you first open the app, an anonymous account is created for you. You can sign in with Google to connect it to your Google account. You’re responsible for keeping access to your device and Google account secure, and for activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions, free trial and billing
Forgetless requires a subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the App Store and Google Play, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you buy.
- Free trial. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged. The monthly plan has no trial.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Price changes. If the price changes, Apple or Google will notify you as their rules require, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
- Refunds. Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled by them under their policies.
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your store settings too.
If you are a consumer in Brazil, nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor, including the right of withdrawal within 7 days of an online purchase (article 49). If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your statutory rights also remain unaffected.
5. Fair use
Forgetless is for personal use. AI processing and Ask have generous limits so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. If usage goes far beyond what a person normally does (for example, automated or bulk processing), we may slow it down or pause it, and we’ll tell you in the app.
6. Your content
What you save stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to process the content you share (to fetch it, send it to our AI provider and return the result to you), to store the processing cache described in the Privacy Policy, and to host any collection you choose to share.
Only share content you are allowed to use. Forgetless helps you organize content for your own use; it doesn’t give you any rights over other people’s content. Respect the rights of creators and the terms of the platforms you save from.
7. AI output
Summaries, recipes, places, steps, timestamps and Ask answers are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Always check important details with the original source before relying on them, especially ingredients and allergens, opening hours, addresses, prices and physical techniques. AI output is not professional advice of any kind (medical, nutritional, legal, financial or otherwise). Practice sports techniques safely and under supervision when appropriate.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t use Forgetless to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy;
- share or publish content that is illegal, hateful, harassing or sexually exploits anyone;
- access, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service, or get around its limits or security;
- resell Forgetless or use it to build a competing service.
10. Other platforms
Forgetless works with content from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, websites and map services, but it is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Their terms apply to their content, and content may stop being available if it is removed at the source.
11. Our rights
The app, the website, the Forgetless name and logo, and our designs and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Forgetless and delete your account at any time in the app (your profile, then Settings, then Delete account). See Delete account for what is deleted. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we’ll explain why unless the law prevents it.
13. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Forgetless running and useful, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that AI output will be accurate.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Forgetless is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data stored only on your device. Our total liability for any claim related to Forgetless is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights as a consumer under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor or other mandatory consumer protection laws. [LIABILITY CLAUSE TO BE REVIEWED BY COUNSEL FOR BRAZIL, THE US AND THE EU.]
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION]. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts of where you live, and the mandatory laws of your country still apply. Before going to court, please write to us; most problems can be solved quickly.
16. If you downloaded Forgetless from the App Store
These terms are between you and Forgetless, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support, or for any claims about it (including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property claims). If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo or on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful, we’ll tell you in the app or on this site before it takes effect. If you keep using Forgetless after that, the new terms apply.
